When was the last time YOU were tested?

In the steamy month of February, RALY (the Reproductive Rights Action League at Yale) encourages you to take part in first annual GET TESTED campaign during Sex Week 2010!

WHY GET TESTED?

Because by the age of 25, one in two young people will get a sexually transmitted disease.
Most won’t know it.

Therefore it is all of our responsibility as sexually active individuals to get tested regularly, regardless of whether or not we have had a “risky” sexual encounter.

HOW DO I GET TESTED?

Getting tested usually entails:

  1. Making an appointment.
  2. Getting your pre-STI test screening to determine what you would like to be tested for.
  3. Going to the labs to get your blood and urine work done.

During Sex Week, RALY and YUHS have teamed up to expedite the testing process. Join RALY before the Sex Week events listed below and there will be NO NEED to make an appointment or speak with a nurse at YUHS. Just come to our pre-test screenings before the events and then make a trip to the lab at your convenience (this can be whenever you want – the day after or months after)!

TO GET TESTED DURING SEX WEEK GO TO EITHER…
